About The Festival
Nestled in the Perth Hills is the
artistic community of Darlington. A highlight on the annual calendar
is the arts festival, which takes place on the first weekend
in November.
2007 marks the 44th Festival with its humble
beginnings starting as an art exhibition in the Darlington Hall
by renowned artists Robert Juniper, Guy Grey Smith (dec), Hal
Missingham (dec) and David Gregson (dec).
Since those early days the Festival has drawn
people from far and wide to experience this pocket of paradise.
The festival is run by a committee of volunteers
capturing the essence of local community spirit in the Perth
Hills.
